Practicing scales

This is way too long

Basically it boils down to :

  1. Practice 10 mins every day
  2. Tuck thumb under early
  3. Normal tempo x 2
  4. Use rhythms and practice each 4 times
  5. – long, short, long, short etc
  6. – short, long, short, long, etc
  7. – long, short, short, short, etc
  8. – short, short, short, long, etc
  9. Normal tempo x 2
  10. Metronome ramp up – increase by 8 to 15 bpm. Repeat 4 x each time increasing
  11. Weekly routine – eg HS – Hands Separate (always start with this)
  12. Use a timer to show 10 mins
  13. Set Goals. eg week 1 – C major
